une femme qui a l'âge d'être en préménopause sourit

There is no 'instant test' or specific moment when everything suddenly changes.

Perimenopause describes all the stages that accompany hormonal changes and the transition from perimenopause to postmenopause. Perimenopause is therefore an integral part of this natural continuum.

Perimenopause sets in gradually, usually between the ages of 35 and 45, and every woman experiences it at her own pace. It is a period of natural adjustment, something that happens gradually: the body changes its hormonal functioning little by little, sometimes without any obvious signs at first. At Ainoha™, we believe that premenopause cannot be detected: it can be observed, understood, and above all, accompanied. Everybody has their own language, and learning to decode it is the first step to regaining confidence.

Listen to your body's signals.

The first changes may be subtle. They are visible: in the rhythm of cycles or in everyday sensations:

  • shorter, irregular, or different cycles,
  • lighter sleep,
  • changes in energy or mood,
  • new fatigue,
  • decreased libido,
  • sometimes greater emotional sensitivity.

These signs aren’t “abnormal.” They simply reflect the body’s internal changes as it adjusts and seeks a new balance. So, knowing whether you’re in perimenopause starts with noticing your own fluctuations: how are your cycles, your sleep, your energy, and your mood changing? It’s not about monitoring, but about truly seeing and understanding the signs. It’s about listening closely to yourself, having a conversation with your body.

Perimenopause is a biological transition that requires listening and understanding.
